THE BILINGUAL'S EXCURSION

  The twenty second of February, third of ESO of La Minilla, Vecindario, Valsequillo and José Arencibia Gil's high schools went to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to do differents activities about the history and important places of the city.

 First of all, the teachers gave to us a number, and then we had to separate into groups. In each group, there were two or three students of the differents schools.

 The  next thing that we did, was go to the Santa Catalina's Hotel to investigate about: When was it built?, Who built it?...; when we went out of the hotel we went to Dorama's park. there we had to find differents types of plants.

 At eleven o'clock, we must be at "La Ermita Grecolatina", but my group and me got lost, and the teachers were looking for us, and finally we appeared, but we were late to a meeting that a woman did about when she was young and she comes to Gran Canaria.

 When the meeting finished, we went to other places to finish the activities, and we also went to a park.

 Finally we went to the bus, and each high school returned to their schools.

 This activity was really interesting because we met lot of people, we parcticed english, we learned to use a map, and we also learned the history of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I think that it was a fantastic experience.
